21 Chestnut Road, A garden for all seasons.
This area is a particular favourite of mine, from the first snowdrops in spring, the bluebells and primroses to the martigan lilies and harebells of summer. It always brings a smile to my face to see the seasons change with native flowers.
The deer stands majestic amongst the snakeshead fritillaries, and as the sjummer progresses almost becomes hiden by moon daises, campion and marsh orchids. Even euphorbia looks beautiful flowering alongside these natives.
This part of the garden is where my grandchildren love to look for easter eggs, as there are lots of lovely places to hide them. They call this the 'Secret Garden'.
